Cavern Diver
The Cavern Diving course is designed for divers who want to explore the fascinating world of cavern diving while maintaining a strong emphasis on safety.
Consisting of a theory portion and confined water sessions, this course prepares divers for cavern dive sessions under the private assistance of your experienced instructor.
This program is designed to develop divers’ Cavern diving skills within the limits of limited light penetration and to ensure divers’ awareness and competence of risk management in overhead environments.
No dives may be conducted to depths greater than the diver’s previous certification level.
PREREQUISITES:
- Must be qualified Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent.
- A minimum of 15 years of age for Diver qualification with a parent or guardian authorization.
- Proof of a minimum of 10 logged dives.
- Complete medical form
DURATION:
- This course takes ~ 4-6 days to complete
