Dos Ojos · The Pit · Angelita · Dreamgate · Carwash ·  Jardin del Edén · Yaakun · Tajma ha · Takbe lum · Takbe ha · Nicte ha · and many more…

Dive in a unique environment found only here in the peninsula of Yucatan, the most well-known place in the world for cave and cavern diving. This is an especially unique experience that is almost impossible to fully describe with mere words. The feeling of closeness with the earth provided by this unique adventure is second to none.. One needs firsthand experience to truly grasp the beauty of traveling through geographical history, time and pristinely filtered natural waters.

Cenote waters are usually crystal clear, as the water within has been naturally filtered by the surrounding porous limestone. Cenotes are the access points to a huge underground network of freshwater rivers where divers may discover stalactites, stalagmites, columns, fossils, remains of animals and the culturally significant remnants of the Mayan civilization. These veins of mother earth were once thought to hold ancient secrets within.

This dive covers intro to overhead environment diving procedures, such as: buoyancy control, kicking techniques, gas rules, flashlight communication, proper team-diving protocol, emergency procedures… etc.

Also, training for overhead diving is available. Enroll in a Cavern or cave course.
