Double Tanks, Backmount

This program is designed for divers who wish to acquire the fundamental skills and knowledge required for technical diving with double tanks in backmount configuration. This course focuses on preparing participants for more advanced and complex dives, using specialized techniques and equipment to enable the certified diver to extend proficiency in the water and learn and put into practice the Essentials with double tanks to have a great foundation under water.

This program is designed for divers who wish to increase their skill competency by further developing their diving skills to be safer, more comfortable and more efficient in the water while expanding the divers basic diving skills to take more advanced recreational and/or technical diving programs

Consisting of academic sessions, confined & open water practice sessions, this course assists the diver in further developing fundamental skills, such as:

• Proper management of buoyancy, trim, balance and propulsion.
• Refine and expand fundamental diving skills.
• Equipment Streamlining and configuration.
• Enhance the student’s personal and team underwater skills.
• Diving safety, situational awareness and accident prevention.
• Enhanced Dive planning and gas management.
• Decompression overview and minimum decompression procedures.
• No dives may be conducted to depths greater than the diver’s previous certification level.
